Cayden's 2nd Birthday

cayden turned two on the 9th of may. we had the gathering/reception on the 8th, the same day as his brother's christening to save on expenses =D. nevertheless, we treated him to a day out in legoland on the day of his actual birthday. it was also a treat to my nephew, whom i promised to bring to legoland on his 7th bday =D

he was superboy that day (courtesy of his tita who i coerced into buying the cute shirt who volunteered to buy the shirt as a bday gift)! he was popular there because of that shirt! there was even this family whom we rode the tram with, who said with fondness to cayden, "so you're the superboy we've been seeing running around...." =D

i ordered them in the US and my mom brought them here last time she went there. except for the cadbury chocolate coins which i bought here =D

the theme was handy manny but unfortunately, i wasnt able to find a handy manny themed cake. i've been to all grocery stores near our area but didnt find a single one! i was really gutted and annoyed because there always used to be a handy manny cake everytime we go to the grocery. and when i need it the most, they dont sell one! what timing! anyways, we settled for a mickey mouse cake because that's the only disney cake available, well apart from the princess one!

he got all these lovely gifts from his other titos and titas (thank you, po!) and a few more not in the picture:

he also had his first booboo (and became a proper toddler!)

we were on our way to the car. he was eating an egg tart and started to run. i think he missed a step or he  turned around and missed a step (?? not sure as i was in the back talking to my brother about buying ice cream from the vending machine lol). anyways, he falls lots of times and he has mastered the art of falling (minimum effect) but because he was holding the egg tart, he wasnt able to protect himself. he was actually protecting the egg tart, would you believe?! and he cried when he fell, not because of the bruise but because his tart was all splattered on the ground lol!!
